I'm confused. It says on blogger that there is a 1GB limit, but picasa web has a 5gb limit. Aren't they shared?

Picasaweb just recently combined with Drive for free storage space so they might not have updated the help articles yet but when you upload the image you should see now that you are using a certain percentage of a number that is in the 5Gb range now.
